At the 2025 Taipei AMPA (Automotive Electronics Show), AutoSys and its partners officially unveiled an intelligent driving algorithm solution embedded in the Novatek NT98690 SoC platform. This marks the first public showcase of a highly integrated, mass-production-ready ADAS + DMS system, drawing significant attention from OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and technology media, and highlighting the commercial potential of embedded edge AI in smart vehicles.
The live demonstration featured five key functional modules:
AVM (Around View Monitoring)
BSD (Blind Spot Detection)
FCW & LDW (Forward Collision Warning & Lane Departure Warning)
DMS (Driver Monitoring System)
DVR (Multi-channel Synchronized Recording)
This deployment optimized the NT98690 SoC’s ISP and computing resources through in-depth tuning and lightweight algorithm adaptation by the AutoSys team. It successfully achieved real-time multitasking under low-power, low-compute conditions—executing AVM, ADAS, and DMS functions simultaneously without requiring an external high-end NPU—demonstrating the practical value of edge computing with cost-efficiency.
This successful integration showcases the feasibility of algorithm-hardware co-optimization and lowers the barrier for intelligent driving system adoption. It enables OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to flexibly plan integrated solutions and accelerate product rollout and mass production. AutoSys further demonstrated its robust capabilities in smart cockpit and driver-assistance system development.
Looking ahead, AutoSys will continue to strengthen integration with automotive ecosystem partners and drive the commercialization and mass production of intelligent driving technologies, injecting new innovation into the smart mobility sector.
